Jiyun (Chloe) completed her Ph.D in Materials Science and Engineering at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in 2025. Her research focus was on synthesis of all-inorganic perovskite quantum dots, as well as their optoelectronic and gas sensing applications. I also investigated on chemical and phase modulation of TMDs to enhance sensing capability in a flexible device. She has recently joined Prof. Igor Aharonovich’s group as a postdoctoral research associate at University of Technology Sydney (UTS). She is currently working on designing quantum dots and 2D materials that host quantum emitters and developing optoelectronic and photonic devices.
