I received my B. Sc. (Hons) degree in Physics from the University of Peradeniya Sri Lanka in 2018. From 2018 to 2021, I worked as a teaching assistant and later as a probationary lecturer at the University of Peradeniya before I joined as a PhD student at the TMOS Centre at the Australian National University under the supervision of Prof Lan Fu. My current research project focuses on the design, fabrication, and characterization of III/V nanowire-based, 1. Single photon detectors 2. IR photodetectors and 3. Polarization-sensitive photodetectors.

Current Projects

  • III/V nanowire single-photon detectors
  • III/V nanowire IR-photodetector
  • III/V nanowire polarization-sensitive photodetectors
