Matthew Parry is a physicist who has worked in the IT industry and also spent a short time as a sculptor. He has strong experience in programming and has done commercial work writing databases to handle XML data. He has also done academic research on the sensitivity of proposed Antarctic infra-red telescopes, tunable filters with metasurfaces and optimal frame polarimetry with all-dielectric metasurfaces. He is currently working on enhancing entangled photon generation from metasurfaces.

Current Projects

  • Upconverting nanoparticle metasurface lasing
